In Elizabeth Berg's wonderful book, Escaping Into the Open: The Art of Writing True, she says, "What you have to be is in love. With writing. Not with ideas about what to write; not with daydreams about what you're going to do when you're successful. You have to be in love with writing itself, with the solitary and satisfying act of sitting down and watching something you hold in your head and your heart quietly transform itself into words on a page." It must be love - I can't seem to get enough of it!

We found this silky, knit thingy under the seat in the Jeep Liberty we rented to take everything down to Florida for our daughter's wedding. WHAT IS IT? It's about 20 inches long and 15 inches wide, as it's laid out in the picture. WINNER WINS IT! (If you want it:-)
I'm laughing my head off... especially love Joshilyn's comment about the dog cover so the monkey can ride him safely:-) Can't find a tire or steering wheel cover that looks like that... and now Barbara, it's too large to cover the sun visor, and I'm not sure why you'd want to? But I love that everyone's trying to help me figure it out!!
Erin: YES, and that's what I thought it was, and maybe it is, but it doesn't belong to Jason and See, who brought a car seat from Denver when I picked them up at the airport, and it doesn't belong to Claire and Ethan, from whom I borrowed a second carseat, and neither of them knew what it was:-) You want it?

A steering wheel cover?
Perhaps a tire cover? Like the ties they hook on the back of the Jeep?
It is for the DOG -- see the tail hole? And the straps go around the legs.
It's so the monkey can ride him safely.
I am RIGHT, but you may give it to charity. I do not HAVE a monkey.
The sun visor cover!

looks like it belongs to something baby related. a stroller or car seat cover or something.
Per my husband:
"Is it an uncomfortable pair of panties?"
I think it may be a decorative sleeve for a pair of Depends.
Are there openings in the sides along those inner black seams? If so, it's a child's carseat cover.

No, I don't want it. I might be wrong, but carseat cover is my best bet.
